Thanks for this short article. It helped me to find a (hopefully) working solution for my Canon 5D Mark II.
I use the camera with the WFT-E4 and I'm lucky with. I transfer all photos directly to my iPad 1 . I have min. 10 Hour full Power (with Kensington Powerpack). I don't use any additional GPS (now) but only "myTracks HD" from Dirk Stichling (http://www.mytracks4mac.com) on iPad and my Macbook Pro. I'm in the phase of testing and will let you know how it works. Maybe I will write it also in my blog.

Hi,
Currently, there is no Mac equivalent of Geosetter.
There are two paid softwares that do almost the same:
http://www.houdah.com/houdahGeo/
And
http://www.earlyinnovations.com/photolinker/

Thanks for this post. Do you know if there is a Mac version of GeoSetter?
Could not find it. If not, any Mac suggestions?

hi,

Thanks for passing by!

What do you mean by "it was hard to control it". Was it for underwater photography specifically?

I owned the 5d before and easily managed the mark II. It's only with the camera features that I'm struggling.
